Funding
Paying for care can feel overwhelming but it does not have to be. At CBSi, we support clients funded through the NDIS, the Government Aged Care Home Care Package program, or private arrangements. Below is a guide to how each option works and how to get started.
WHAT IS A HOME CARE PACKAGE?
A Home Care Package (HCP) is a government subsidy assigned to eligible older Australians to help fund in-home support. There are four levels based on assessed care needs:
- Level 1 — Basic care needs (approx. $10,000/year)
- Level 2 — Low-level care needs (approx. $17,500/year) Level 3 — Intermediate care needs (approx. $38,000/year)
- Level 4 — High-level care needs (approx. $58,000/year)
Your package is coordinated through a Package Provider (sometimes called a Case Manager). CBSi acts as your direct care service provider. We are the people who come to your home and deliver the support. We work closely with your Package Provider to ensure your care plan is followed and your goals are met.
NOT YET ASSESSED? Register through My Aged Care at myagedcare.gov.au. An assessor will determine your care level and add you to the allocation list. While you wait, we can support you privately.
